Autumn wings…

I was out walking yesterday, and I came upon a small pond with ducks, geese, doves and seagulls. Without breadcrumbs, its hard to get ducks, or geese to pose. :) Then you have to be patient. For shot #6 I used about five minutes to get close. And the result is perfect with the reflection and the colors. The last shot is not what I wanted, but all I got. Hundred yards from the pond, there was an enormous flock of grazing geese. The flock counted at least four hundred birds, if not more. This was a gathering point for the migrating birds. I approached them with the Hipstamatic ready, but they were spooked quickly and all of them took off at the same time. And they passed only 2-3 meters over my head. So this shot was straight from the hip. All prints John S Lens, color prints are Ina's 1935 Film, the rest BlacKeys B+W Film.
