Black Cats and Butterflies…

I went for a Hipstawalk today, and in two minutes there was two black cats crossing the road in front of me. I half expected a gypsy fortune teller to stand on the corner, glaring at me with her one good glass-eye saying: beware…

Cats are somewhat fascinating animals. Dogs are always happy to see you, but cats only let you touch them if they want to. The last cat, who had a name tag with the name Mons on it, did NOT want to be touched, or have his picture taken. After these two prints, he just moved away from the annoying Hipstagrapher…

The eyes on the cat was amazingly yellow, and really stood out against his charcoal fur.

This day were a day for chasing objects. The butterfly wasn't interested either, and I chased it for almost 5 minutes…

The last shot is from a subway station in Oslo. The painted glass reflects on the floor and the concrete walls, creating almost a sacral mood of the entrance.

Full color prints are the Blanko Noir Film, the rest are my trustworthy BlacKeys B+W Film. All prints are the John S Lens.
