The most known passage (and my favorite) is this:
In 2002, one of my younger brothers died suddenly, only 33 years old. He is buried at a cemetery in Oslo. Yesterday was easter saturday, and I spent some time decorating the grave with flowers.
The night frost is still there, and because of this we must be careful about what we plant. Because of this I chose a sturdy plant called Stemorsblomst in Norwegian. In English it has several names. Wild Pansy, Three Color Violet, and my favorite name Heart's Ease. The first print is the grave before I started. Because of the frost, it has been barren for a few weeks now.
I tried to create a heart-shape with the flowers. I had to remove some of the buds, but in a short week there will be many flowers covering the shape. There are many colors, red, blue, violet, yellow, so I think it will look good.
I bought some fresh cut roses, and planted some Daffodils on the side to have something bright in the meantime. As the prints show, the grave is decorated with teddy bears, hearts and angels. ♥ ♥ ♥
Full color prints are the Blanko Negro Film, others the BlacKeys B+W Film. All prints are John S Lens.
