The Kings Guard and the Sun…

Last week I was walking around the harbor in Oslo. The old steamer MS Børøysund had started its engines, and was bellowing smoke alongside the docks. This ship is 103 years old, and still goes strong.

The first print is the City Hall of Oslo. Today we have election of local governments all over Norway. This is one of the places where you can give your vote…

I had to include a print with the ray of sun breaking the shot, I like this effect.

By the royal castle, The Kings Guard were on parade. Some prominent guests were visiting the King this afternoon. The guardsman in the last print is actually on his way to usher me to the side. When it comes to people carrying a sabre, I never argue…

All prints are the John S Lens, and the BlacKeys B+W Film.
